Poddar Chhatra Niwas Alumni Association (PCNAA) is the official alumni body of Poddar Chhatra Niwas — one of Kolkata's most storied student residences, established in 1935 at 150, Chittaranjan Avenue. What began as Marwari Chhatra Niwas has grown into a thriving community of professionals, leaders, and lifelong friends spread across India and the world.
Our story
PCN has produced some of India's most distinguished professionals — judges, doctors, CEOs, CFOs, and leaders across every field. For decades, PCNions carried their hostel bonds into their careers, yet there was no formal platform to sustain those connections. After several attempts, the alumni formally united under the name Poddar Chhatra Niwas Alumni Association, registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961 (Registration No. 36182 of 2015–2016).
The Member Directory Portal is our digital home — a space where PCNions can find hostel mates, explore alumni profiles, engage in discussions, and stay connected no matter where life has taken them.
